Twine (play in browser) game. Help deleting player save data.

I don't know if this is the right place to be asking this, soz!
Hi, I made a game to upload here using Twine (Harlowe). There's a button in said game which allows the player to reset the page and start over. However, this function doesn't quite work once put into itch. It doesn't reset the game, just resets the passage (I suspect it has to do with how the site stores player data or something). It also autosaves. When I leave and then come back to the game, it starts off exactly where I left it, and given that it's a short game, I don't want it to do that.

I'd rather not have the button just send the player straight back to the start, because it effed around with the colors of my links when I tried.

Any help is appreciated! (slightly urgent, it's for an assignment due soon!)

As far as I know and in my own experience, Itch does not save any information about the state of a web game.

If the game is not resetting properly, 99% chance it is something related to twine or your browser.

PS: I just tried your game, I fast forwarded about 3 scenes, closed the window and logged back in. The game started from the beginning.

Hmm... ok ok.... Well, i dunno how to fix it, and it's due later today. I guess i'll just bite the bullet 😅.
Thanks for the help anyways! And thanks for playing my game!
