Hello! I'm George and I'm a aspiring game developer  who wants to make a game with fellow teammates that people surely will like and love. I'm a self taught programmer that is in his last year in school and is going to University soon. I have learned the basics of CS well on my own though I'm not a professional in it. I'm also an digital artist so I can draw well. I want to participate in game jams to gain experience when it comes to creating games and in projects overall. I also want to gain experience and skills  from working in a team that is crucial  in the work. I'm also passionate about video games and in game development overall. Anyone who would share the same passion in game dev, or is willing to gain experience can participate in a game jam with me and hit me up. Yea its hard to make  a story. I have many great ideas for a story but its hard to execute them

The thing is currently we are conflicted on joining GBJam11 or https://itch.io/jam/spooktober-2023 game jam which is a horror VN game jam if we had found a writer. Would you still be interested if we decided on the other game jam?

can the game be like: Flesh, Blood, & Concrete?

are death scenes allowed?

Can i instead of having a background image, have a pixel level where the player can move around and interact with objects in that level?  With  of course respecting the elements of a horror visual novel?

Can we use AI do draw some backgrounds for the game?

Im in a team consisting of two members: a programmer(me) and a music producer and we are looking for a pixel artist!

I'm beginner programmer who is interested in making games. I have general knowledge about several programming languages like C/C++, java and i know a bit of  DSA and  I just recently got into learning game dev using C# and unity because i really like playing video games and I thought that why not learn to make video games? I started to get a hang of it because I know some CS but its overwhelming  considering that i need to master other skills to make a full functioning game as games require other skills like art, game design, etc.... However, I'm really excited to make games  and I'm also excited to take this opportunity  to gain experience from working  with  fellow experienced game devs to further sharpen my CS skills and to improve my overall game development and team  skills . So,  I'm excited to join a team to whoever is in need of a programmer.

Im a beginner senior HS student  programmer who started programming as a hobby, I then actively sought to learn CS by myself. I  have some basic understanding of computer science and DSA as well I have a basic understanding of C/C++,Java, C# with Unity.

I  started Game Dev with Unity just recently so i can create some fun games with code  however i find it difficult to be a solo indie game dev because of the other aspect of game dev, So I would like to work in a team and have fun making games with my fellow developers of various skills as well im eager to gain experience  and learn in this field more.
