Oh crap, was I dying this whole time? The end was kind of a shocking reveal lol!
The main mechanic of seeing portal through enemies is fun!
I liked the art, it feels pretty, cute, and cohesive.
The music and sound matched the art and gameplay pretty well!

In terms of feedback:
Sometimes I would just walk around impatiently until I found the portal before the enemies passed over it, resulting in me getting some pretty quick levels that felt kind of lucky!
I felt like the button level could've been communicated a bit better. Since most enemies are colored shapes, I expected this colored shape to also be bad. I ran for a bit around in the first level that introduced them before I decided to risk it by touching it. Maybe it could have a different sprite or something!
In terms of the music, I think it fits pretty well, but it feels a bit distracting when the loop is ending because the fade out is a bit pronounced. To fix this, if you got the file from somewhere else, you could search "How to create a seamless ambient loop" in Youtube to see a more detailed explanation. If you made the music yourself, you could just print/bounce export the file with the final reverberation tail, import it again in your DAW, then cut the final reverb tail, put it in a separate track, and put it at the start of the file. This way, when you loop it it'll be seamless, since the final part will match exactly with the audio tail while continuing to play the main part.

Very cool concept and entry, keep up the good work!

Thanks for such cool and detail feedback! I will try to improve these in post jam ver. Especially the music xD, I have no idea how to make it loop better before. Appreciate much !

Super fun mechanic to see the portals through the enemies! Although i did end up most of the times just running to the corners without waiting haha

Simple but with high potencial!

I liked how the mechanics are laid out in a simple manner so that the player get used to how it works, also nice game finish screen (I couldn’t do mine in time😭)

Good job!

Developer

Thanks for playing ! Lets make our screen better next time hehe !!

Very cool game and quite a memory test as you run through the levels. As mentioned many time below, I too like the hidden portal reveal mechanic with the enemies. Lotsa interesting possibilities. :-)

Developer

Thanks for playing ! Hope that I could release a better one for post-jam version.

Very cute game!  I smiled and enjoyed playing it all the way to the end.  I like the little things you added to the game feel like the transitions between screens the movement of the text.  Those things are so easily missed when coding a Jam game.  Was that you playing the piano for the background music?  If you get time to edit the game after the game have you considered making the exit point randomly placed?  Awesome job!!!!!!!

Thank you very much for the feedback! I am not so talent :(. I spent hours to find that background music. Thanks again for enjoying every there

Having the enemies reveal the exit is a neat mechanic :)

Beat it! The mechanic where you have to wait for the enemies to reveal the portal is super interesting. I've never seen anything like that. The game felt like it switched genres around level 5, I think I preferred the earlier levels where it's more of a platformer than the later levels which felt more like a general puzzle. I'm not sure the leaderboard is working correctly (or maybe it's a problem on my end).

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I feel the same at some point when designing the puzzle. I guess I was running out of idea xDD. The leaderboard has not been working yet, sorry about this.

I liked the mechanic of finding the portals, having to sort of survive long enough to see it through the "enemies" or obstacles. Nicely done!

Thanks for playing and provide me feedback !

finding the portals is a bit weird but its a charming game

Developer

Thanks for trying it. Why do you think it's weird to find the portals. Was it too hard or clueless to do so?

i just felt like i was wandering around hoping to accidentally stumble upon a portal

Thank you very much for your feedback, appreciate much!
