  • In this game, you play as a firefly named Lucien that lights up with the power of streetlights. Your goal is to approach the other fireflies and make them follow you with your own light, then deposit them on the tables around the stage. It's a clever game in using the engine's lights for its main mechanic. It has beautiful art, though it would be interesting to have another mechanic besides the timeout to end the game, perhaps something more puzzle-oriented since the mechanic of attracting the other fireflies with your own light is interesting.

So cute! Took me too long to figure out the jars were all at the bottom of the level :) But once I did I was happily collecting fireflies inside them. Cute music and graphics too.

Really cool game with nice art and music! The game idea is really unique and I like it a lot! Something I would improve a bit is the flying. At the moment it does not really feel like flying, I think you should add acceleration and deceleration, maybe also some random movement on the fireflies.

Still a very solid game. Well done!

Cool art style, nice music. I couldn't quite figure out why the fireflys would stop following me at times. Good game, congrats on finishing.

I really love the overall aesthetic of the game! It took me a minute to figure out how it all worked but once I got a hang of it, it's quite fun to play. The biggest feedback I would have is to include some sort of controls explanation in the game as well as to tell players where to find jars as the first time I played I didn't realize I needed to revisit lights or that the jars would be down below.

Nice and original idea, well thought!! it was really fun and challenging to complete on 1 min, I have tried 3 times but only filled 2 jars :( , the music suits well with the aesthetics too, great job!.

Such an adorable and fun game! Great job :)

Cute game. I would like to see some difficulty added in, perhaps a bat that occasionally swoops in to snatch a firefly away. Well done.

Hi!

Collected 4 cans!

Quite innovative!

It would be nice to have a menu with a description of the controls, as well as an option to turn the sound on/off.

I had fun, congratulations!

Quick and simple little game. Great job!

Such a cool game but I wished the player would have more time. I've only lighted two :')

Nice atmosphere and concept! Would have liked the attraction force to be a bit stronger and for the sprite to flip towards the direction you're going.

Very nice graphics and game atmosphere. a bit short maybe but thats ok. i managed to lit all 4 jars :)

I'd love to see more going on on the screen. the fireflies could circle around the player, once "captured", the player could leave a sparkling trail, when loaded with the light-power, etc. such things make games much more immersive

But: a really nice game!

Lovely art, the little bee butler and his outfit is cute. Took me a minute to understand that the lamps charge you, I would suggest adding a gauge that shows you have much charge you have left and letting the lamps recharge it even if you're currently lit, as opposed to forcing you to completely run out before beginning the timer again. Nice job!

I'm a big fan of the atmosphere created. I almost kinda wanted it to be zoomed out a bit so I could enjoy the lights in the background as I was catching the fireflies. Appreciate the responsive controls as well. I think a clearer indication of when your light ran out would've nice.

This was an interesting take on the theme, nice work!

It's an original idea that fits the theme nicely. The art and music really complement each other. On top of that the code structure and readability are good, not a requirement but it shows the team cared.

The "guessing the mechanic" looks kinda fun tho.

The audio and the BGM also fits the art as well.

If only there animation to the firefly it would be much better

Wew I got all the jars lit on my second try. I really loved the peaceful environment and vibes. The retro sound effects are perfect.

I enjoy playing the game it has addictive qualities. It took a little bit to figure out how to play but once I did I still wasn't that good I couldn't light more than 3 jars in the timer, but addictive cause I know I could if I practiced more. I think they are always in the same place though so once I figured that out it may be less fun so randomizing it would be even better. All in all great work =)

I like the idea, but I’m not sure if I’m playing the game correctly. I go around and attract other flies, but I don’t know how to put them in a jar. The music fits the style, and I feel like I’m in France or Italy. Good job. (Enabling “wasd” for movement would help with the controls since we’re using a keyboard and mouse for navigation.)

EDIT: I was able to put them in jars after I found them, haha.
