Hi Leafo.

I think the change indirectly may have broke some very specific scenario I am currently experiencing. I will try to describe it.

I am a Firefox user and I am developing a game. (Godot 4, browser build)
Because the game is in its testing stages I have the game currently on Restricted with a required password to be able to access the page. Testers can access the page at any time while the game not being officially released yet.

Due to the pop-up change, users reported that the pop-up gave a 404 page when loading the browser game. When I tested it myself (while being logged into Itch.io) The game was working.
Then I tried running the game on a Firefox private tab (not being logged into itch.io) and I also got the 404 page.
I tried playing the game in Edge (without being logged into Itch.io) and I was able to play the browser game normally.

I am suspecting that the pop-up does not know about the password that is required in order to view the Itch.io page of the Restricted game. And that it gives a 404 page instead.
So testers that use Firefox are unable to play the browser build currently.

Thanks for your time!

Thank you comrade!

The dragons kept flying away when I tried adding them.

Hello everybody, enjoy this surprise update to Dice & Dragons - Extended!

Thanks koekwous, you never fail to amaze me.

A very creative spin on Snake. I liked playing it!
Funny enough, the mouse holes in the later levels actually make the game easier as you could just swap places between two holes and the snake will hit itself.

Thanks for your feedback!

Thank you all so much for checking it out!

Woh, that is actually an interesting idea.

This game is amazing.
It's really satisfying to play (5 stars for Gameplay for sure)
I'm also impressed by the animation work too.
Great job!

Amazing! Got Hotline Miami vibes from this!

Creative game. Some bugs, mainly clipping through magnets and spikes sometimes, but it's a jam afterall.
I'm honestly surprised you managed to build this in the limited time span, good job!

Wow, one of my favourite games in this jam.
Only feedback I have is that it is a bit unclear what each potion does, but I do think this could be a great canidate to expand upon.

Simple but solid!

Nicely done!
Love how the enemies have alternating speed.
I had some difficulties with lvl 2. as the stairs was on the left side of the screen. But due to the generic gray colour it did't grab my attention much.

Very impressive you managed to build this during the jam!

Fun little concept.
A bit tedious to having to spam-click the arrow keys but other then that, I got Zelda vibes from it.

Relaxing game,
Reminds me a bit of Oxygen Not Included (liquid part)

Hi, thanks for checking out Mailman.
This was my first 'product' using LÖVE & Lua.
Although the fun-factor of this game is a lot to be desired, I loved working on it for the past week.

I've left the game 'open ended' for that fact.
New ascention upgrades and such could be easly added afterwards. (Not to get your hopes up, as I don't have any ideas atm)
But it would be simple additions.
Removing the feathers after each ascention would increase the game's difficulty fairly in my opinion, that was the reason for trading in feathers for currency.

Good point,
I remember thinking it might be a bad idea to use the D20 shields, as it will make the most powerful dices less powerful.

It's not required to upgrade all the dice to max level, light and darkness are immune to D20s.
If the ascention upgrades are high enough, D12s for example could easly beat them.

Thank you for playing,
May I ask how long it took you to max out the ascention skills?

The 'angel feathers' icon you mean?
Now you mention it, its a bit abstract. I got that icon from the Angel enemy. It should represent a feather in a few pixels, but I can imagine it looks a bit bland

Yes, it was by design.
In the beginning, with lower ascention upgrades, you will need D20 dice to defeat the angel to farm feathers. Darkness and Light are in place to hinder the progression a little bit.
Eventually when you have decent ascention upgrades, your dice are powerfull enough to beat both the Angel, Darkness and Light,  with lower level dice so you will farm feathers much more quickly.

The Dungeon master will roll dice for you, the more you upgrade it, the faster it'll roll.
The Dice Tower will decrease the time it takes for dice to roll

Hello, the parallax background doesn't seem to be included in the current version.

Hi, thanks for playing.
I did prepare a patch that fixes that bug and adds more enemies etc but I haven't got around updating it yet.

Not a bug, it's a valid strategy! :D

Yess, that's a little issue left to fix, but thank you so much for playing!

I did got some feedback that it's difficult to get money in the beginning with 1 d4 dice. Balancing is indeed a topic I couldn't flesh out much due to the time contraints, but after the rating period, I will look at it again.

The way it's meant to be played!

We did not use a specific art pack, its from different artists, but for example the background and enemies fit very well together.

Hi, Thanks for playing, what did you exactly mean by a loss mechanic? 🤔

This game looks beautiful.
Interesting, but fun gameplay.
I did not figure out how to dodge the lazers

Very creative game,
The dice mechanic is a bit abstract in this game, I'm not sure exactly what the W-S keys do.
It is also very replayable.

Thank you for playing,
I am planning to update the Healthbar & enemy timer after the voting periods to make it more clearer for the player.

Thank you for playing!
