WHEN / TIMING

The Game Jam begins with submissions opening December 17th, 2020 and submissions will end on January 15th, 2021 at 12:00am (Midnight) Pacific Standard Time.

Winner results will be revealed on January 21st, 2021, and shortly after will begin a People's Choice Award where the DV Plays Discord community (discord.gg/dvplays) members will be able to vote on their favorite entries.

JUDGING CRITERIA

What we're looking for:

Original world and/or game level design that shows off both originality and creativity.
Theme: You'll need continuity and theme consistency to separate yourself from those who carry a vision in their design vs. those who drop everything but the kitchen sink into their world.
Lighting: Consider spending time on your lighting
Eye Candy: Don't forget particles and polish that sets your world apart from others.
