Nice, quite challenging platformer, reminding me to the flash era metroidvanias. Not sure if it’s intentional, but it ran in a small window for me, and I had trouble figuring out which part of the walls are covered with spikes.

Couldn't win. I'm not great at platformers. I liked the lighting, it added a lot.

The controls could use a bit more love I think. I recommend you check out: https://gmtk.itch.io/platformer-toolkit

Thanks for the recommendation, I'll definitely check it out

A tough but cute little platformer about exploring a temple. I kind of wish there was an option for re-spawning in a room / checkpoint (and choosing to keep current time or restart), because without it it feels way too tough. I suck at platformers but still managed to get one sand though hehe ((: (through great effort and determination) time mechanic is very cool but does make this tough little game even tougher!!

Neat platformer. Could benefit from some more sound design and checkpoints/respawns with more forgiving platforming. Reminds me of Spelunky

The game looks good!

I'm not a fan of difficult platformers, let alone ones with no respawn points, but I'd love to see Vedal rage at it, and I'm happy to see others had fun with it ❤

Very good platformer but full reset after each death is really discouraging :(

Difficult, but fun platformer. Good work.

Controls feel pretty good, art is nice, the platforming was fun. I noticed other people saying they would have preferred a dynamic camera but didn't mind the static camera at all. As others mentioned though, having to completely restart after death was a little rough... but overall nice work!

haha it was a difficult game yet fun. Also said by other ppl a dynamic camera would be better

A bit difficult but game is actually pretty cool, good job on this one

The platformer physics aren't bad but the instant death that makes you restart the game is pretty frustrating. But otherwise, the level design looks pretty good.

Very difficult game.

It's hard to see where the hazards are since the camera is so zoomed out and I don't think you can even fullscreen it? Having it reset to the start after each death is heartbreaking, especially when you lose the sand you collected.

I think the level design is pretty good though. With some tighter controls, and better checkpoints it would be a fun little game.

Pretty tough tbh, especially with my lack of skill. As others have already said, a dynamic camera would have been nice, but I also liked it this way since it kinda gave off old Flash game vibes.

Pretty cool game. Like the sand mechanic and art. Death restart location is a bit brutal. Takes a while to run back to the mines.

I second this mans sentiments.

Damn this was pretty darn challenging, but quite enjoyable!

The one thing i could think of could use some sort of adjusting would be the level size or size of everything in general, maybe making the levels smaller all the while the sprites bigger sort of deal, or maybe making a dynamic camera which follows the player along - why? Because its a little difficult to tell everything apart at some occasions.

But now that i think about it making the screen size adjustable could be very simple alternative too.

But other than that, very nice work!

Responsive controls and an impressive amount of different enemy behaviours on the second stage!

It was a bit hard to see the spikes though ;)
