I think theres a lot of potential in this game! the aesthetics work well together too! I think maybe a bit more context or guidance would go a long way, or just a bit more time to understand whats possible to do!
I love the idea and aesthetics, I think if the map were to be procedurally generated and have multiple exit points it'd be a lot more interesting. Nice work!
Hi, the game is very nice and I really like the idea! I think a little bit more time for the level would be cool to explore the are a bit more or something like a radar/ mini-map would be a cool extra to sprint to the portal at the end when the time runs out as an idea. :)
And really cool graphics, and the red atmosphere is spooky and nice :D
Intriguing idea, loved the 3D top view and feel of the character. Level is also interesting to explore a few times.
I think scoring is broken at the moment: the cost of artifacts doesn't count, but the gold saves between runs, so player can just rerun a few times and pick up the same gold pile from the ground.
Unlocked shield and sword and opened the crypt; don't know if there is anything to do with horn, mead, diary and mushrooms.
Cool aesthetic to the game, feels nice to play. Started to get the hang of it but was a bit confused whether I should be going for gold or finding items to use etc.. perhaps a longer time in the forest would allow a bit more exploration to figure it out sooner.
Thank you for giving it another try! :)
This was by design - the idea is for the player to run the level multiple times, learning item placement, value, secrets and paths, so they can decide upon the most optimal path and attempt a highscore.
I really wanted to make a proper introduction level that explains all this, so the player doesn't have to learn the basics under while under time pressure. There wasn't enough time, unfortunately.
Very nicely presented game, looks really good. The portal is a bit hard to identify, walked past it multiple times without realizing it. Very atmospheric; nice use of third-party assets!
Unfortunally i coudn’t play because my character only walks for the left (In web browser and also in the .exe)
If i can do something to correct this bug, please reply so i can check the gameplay!
Besides that i liked the graphics, sounds and feel of the game, i am really curious to play and see more about it :)
I'm not sure if I'm missing something but I can only move left or right, and then I get stuck.
