This is such a unique game play. Love the bug design too. They are cute.
Fun gameplay, fun sfx! The game gets way too hard way too quickly, tho. And flipping gravity is really confusing cause it flips the controls as well, so I ended up trying not to jump overall. I liked the aesthetics and the implementation! Good job!
Really high quality pixel art looks great. I also like the concept a lot feels like a fresh take while still feeling familiar.
Very fun game! The artstyle is great, the idea is also very cool, i dont really like that the movement is like "grid" based, while everything else doesnt move that way, but it was super enjoyable! Great job
The fun movement of UFO 50's Warptank mixed with a satisfying combat system. very nice!
Ha-ha, i was wondering, if anyone would comment about this! :D
Game is too hard for me, but really good job coming up with very interesting and original idea.
I was terrible at this game but It has lot of value. I tried but if could get better used to the controls would enjoyed it further. Great job!
Controls can be hard to wrap your head around at times, but it's a very novel, and enjoyable take on the theme! The art really caught my eye on this one, that explosion animation on the player looks great!
The artwork and the music, the whole feeling is gorgeous. The controls were strange when upside down. The shooting and looping mechnism is interesting but in these levels it was so hard for me to predict, it felt random. Enjoyed it overall!
very fun game, interesting take on the theme and i love it! maybe a bit of a more in depth tutorial could have made it easier to understand, i felt a bit lost at the beginning, but game jam so understandable :)
if you have time, id really appreciate it if you could give me some feedback on my game (https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2025/rate/3780834) - its my first game jam and im looking to get better!
This game mechanic is very cool. I like frying the enemies with a large loop. I think having something to assist aiming would be nice. Also, if the control is not reversed when upside down, it would be amazing.
It became difficult to clear the game once the chasing enemies appeared. But I thought it was a very clever and great idea! It was fun.
It's so satisfying when you shots connect in a way that lights up the entire stage. I think the itch page design is cutting off the health meter though. The music and sounds are pretty cool, but I think they only work if you hit the settings menu first? Either way, I had a blast.
I think my feedback will be the same as everyone, but the attacks feels so nice, but a bit random (even tho its not, im just dumb)
Overall i liked it!
Wow the main mechanics is very creative indeed! The movement is also very unorthodox but the jump is very satisfying. It kinda broke my brains a little bit when you're on a ceiling and your control is inverted though. But I had a lot of fun trying to go to random spots on the map to try and just shoots random beams haha.
Very creative game! The controls were a little strange some time, especially when I would teleport to the ceiling and have my left/right reversed. Unfortunately, my optimal strategy turned out to be sitting in a good position and spamming the shoot button. With a little more baking, this could be a really really fun arcade game!
Very cool design and unique attack mechanic; nice sfx on the loop closing. I feel it would be more enjoyable if you could somehow predict the trajectory of the projectile since I feel a little too much randomness. Good job overall!
really cool idea, i like the art direction a lot. the rope mechanic fealt a bit random to use, i ended up spamming it, could be worth doing something like a direction arrow, or a faded line showing the first few bounces or something to make it a little more clear where its going to go? Great work though, super fun :D
idk if its hard or im just bad at it lol but i really like the concept and gameplay
the ricochet idea is fantastic! really fun game, difficult but satisfying when you catch a bunch of enemies in one attack.
